I am not sure how much my story reflects the true values of Syte company. Now I can say that what looked as an inspiring place to work for turned out to be a place I would stay away from. It was a frustrating experience for me, but recruitment/selection process is happening on both sides, candidates are also accessing whether the company is a dream place to work.
#SYTE GLASSDOOR PROFESSIONAL#
I have dedicated a lot of time and efforts to become a part of Syte, and expect respectful professional attitude from the company. I believe that company should respect the candidates by declaring transparently how recruitment decisions are done. I have to admit that I felt intimidated by the non-transparent recruitment process. I was very confused since ‘team party’ stage was not announced to be part of recruitment process and I didn’t know that the race was still going on. We had a good time and lots of fun during party, but a few days later the hiring manager told me that they won’t proceed with me without giving clear reasons.

At the party I was very surprised to see another candidate for this position there. I felt that he took an opportunity to introduce me to the team while we are waiting for the ‘formalities’ to be checked.

Right after I was invited by the hiring manager to the team party in the bar, which sounded as an invitation to meet the team and get to know each other. I was told that the company would like to move on to the next (final) stage with me - checking my references, which sounded more like a formality. I applied to the BDR position and successfully went through all recruitment stages and got very positive feedback about my assignment. I applied online. The process took 4 weeks.
